Amir Metry, Ph.D.
Dr. Metry has been a business consultant since 1995 and has over forty years of technical, managerial and executive experience in major aspects of environmental and infrastructure engineering including; environmental resources management, hazardous and nuclear waste management, pollution control and prevention, and economic and energy development. Dr. Amir Metry has been a Versar Director since 2002, for which he serves as Chairman of the Versar Compensation Committee and is also on the Nominating & Governance Committee. During the past 30 years he held executive positions at Roy F. Weston, Inc., and was a founding Principal of PMC, a member company of The ERM Group. He is principal author/editor of four books & over 70 book chapters and articles dealing with environmental resources management, clean technology & sustainable development. Dr. Metry received a BS in Engineering from Cairo University, an MS & Ph.D. from Drexel University, an AMP degree from Wharton School of Business, and a MTS degree in Faith & Public Policy from Palmer Theological Seminary.
