Project Manager and   Policy Analyst

Arianna Ugliano is a Project Manager and Policy Analyst at CCS. She has acquired experience in the design, planning, analysis, implementation and management of multi-objective and stakeholder-based action planning processes, including Low Emission Development Strategies (LEDS) and Green Growth Plans, as well as related institutional and technical capacity building programs. She currently manages the US Agency for International Development (USAID) Enhancing Capacity for LEDS (EC-LEDS) for Guatemala, and the Remote Assistance on LEDS (REAL) program with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) through the LEDS GP. Ms. Ugliano also supported the development of the Climate Action Plan for Coahuila under the Mexico LEDS Program, and the design and development of a customized LEDS planning and analysis process for Ukraine. She is one of the lead authors and the project manager of the CCS report on Enhanced Transatlantic Collaboration on Renewable Energy under the Delegation of the European Union to the United States Transatlantic Debate and Research Project.

Ms. Ugliano is an attorney by training and, prior to joining CCS, she worked with law firms and as in-house counsel on research and analysis of energy regulatory frameworks to support clients’ investment decisions. Ms. Ugliano holds a J.D. from the LUISS Guido Carlo University of Rome, Italy, a Master in International Business Law (LL.M.) from King’s College, University of London, UK, and a Master of Science in Energy Policy and Climate at the Johns Hopkins University. Ms. Ugliano is a native speaker of Italian, is fluent in English and Spanish, and has basic knowledge of French.
