CCS and US Mexico Border Environment Cooperation Commission Hold Regional Training Workshop

On July 16, 2011, CCS conducted a regional workshop to help state, regional and federal agencies and experts in the six Mexico Border States create and conduct economic analyses of comprehensive state climate action plans. The workshop was conducted in cooperation with the Border Environment Cooperation Commission (BECC), and the Institute for National Ecology (INE). More than 100 representatives from the region attended the simulcast event with on site experts from CCS through locations in Juarez, Monterrey, Mexicali, and Mexico City to build capacity and expertise for state planning initiatives, including economic planning and analysis.
