CCS Launches the Security and Investment Project with Johns Hopkins Global Security Center, National and Subnational Leaders, Experts
Wednesday, November 30, 2011
On November 30, 2011, CCS launched a new national initiative, The Security and Investment Project, to support comprehensive leadership strategies for the emerging energy economy. The project provides critical updates of energy and emissions trends in the US and key actions to simultaneously advance economic, energy and environmental security, as well as new policy development and documentation tools for subnational and national use. This integrated security planning and analysis system will help guide and mobilize investment at the local, state and federal levels, and provide new economic development tools for policy makers. The Security and Investment Project is an outgrowth of the CCS 2010 national economic analysis of comprehensive climate and energy policy co-published with the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) Center for Advanced Governmental Studies, Global Security Center.
