The Center for Climate Strategies provides high-level leadership support and technical and facilitative capacity to public officials and stakeholders at the state, regional and local levels across the United States and in other countries. Our work has been instrumental in significantly reducing the growth of greenhouse gas emissions and related risks of climate change, while improving economic development and energy security at the same time. CCS has catalyzed over 30 comprehensive climate action plans at the state and provincial level in the US and other countries through its signature initiatives that provide multisector, stakeholder-based, stepwise, planning and analysis. CCS also supports financing mechanisms and implementation for important new sector based actions.
