Pacific Coast Collaborative

On June 30, 2008, the leaders of the States of California, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska, and the Province of British Columbia, signed the Pacific Coast Collaborative (PCC) Agreement. Through annual meetings, the PCC promotes a common front for cooperative policy alignment, action, and information sharing among the Governors of the states of Washington, Oregon, California, and Alaska, and the Premier of British Columbia.

In 2011, the PCC commissioned an assessment report by Globe Advisors and The Center for Climate Strategies on the emerging global clean economy and regional responses to capture and enhance this market, estimated to reach $2.3 trillion by 2020. β€œThe West Coast Clean Economy: Opportunities for Investment and Accelerated Job Creation,” released March 13, 2011, details the market and policy framework, and job creation and investment potential for specific, sector based actions with regional synergy.
